Holiday Plans

•October 5, 2007 • Leave a Comment

I had high aspirations for this Halloween, of doing a series of creepy-cool-comics. However, when I looked over what I already had in the chamber, I realized that the time-slot was taken with other necessary storyline comics. So I’m afraid that you will all (both of you) have to wait till next year. Don’t worry though, I have been hard at work for six Christmas comics, one of which will be released on Christmas day. I’ve also decided to do an extra comic on NewYears day at 12am. So bring in the new year with Undermoose.

Enjoy

UnderMoose Blog Wins BlackFlag Award (aka Beer)

•September 24, 2007 • Leave a Comment

The UnderMoose blog was actually started in order to comply with a challange issued by the creator of The Black Flag ales and beers microbrew to create and manage a blog. Thanks to all you faithful UnderMoose fans, the hits on this blog won ol’ Funlicker a case of American Pale Ale (“Ike’s Ale” as refered to on the BlackFlag site.) You can read about it and more Black Flag recipes here. Take my word for it, this stuff is great. You can be sure my next comic will be written under the influence of Ike’s Ale.

Shut up and I’ll tell you. I want to see and hear interesting ways that you have spread the word about UnderMoose. Post pictures of or tell the story about how you spead the word. How’d he do de?

•July 6, 2007 • 2 Comments

I’m still trying to hash out how I’m going to handle the format. Colored comics take time and I could easily get backed up, unable to ever resurface to the light and die. Well, maybe not die but it will suck. I really want to do some black and white inked comics too. So as it stands right now I’ll do whatever I feel like doing whenever I feel like feeling about doing what I feel . . . um . . . I’m lost. Anyways, look for some 4-panel black and whites (not pandas) to show up in the mix. If I’m posting this beautiful junk every week I’ll need time off from work and that’s lost cash (I like cash) and besides I think, nay, I know that B&Ws will be fun. I promise there will be plenty of my photoshop’d masterpieces to come. If I have a plethora of comics and find that the colored ones are not hard to keep up with, I’ll post the black and whites in the middle of the week.

Spread the Word,

One Week Left

•July 1, 2007 • Leave a Comment

As it approaches on only one week till the release of UnderMoose I wonder if anyone at all will read this post, this news, or this comic at all. Will my words be floaters in the toilet of cyberspace (stinky and hard to ignore) that will get flushed as soon as they are seen? Will they be as flowers growing out of someones nose (strange, beautiful, but you wish that they existed in some other circumstance)? Will the Webbernet be good to me? Will Radbit ever get his own show on [adult swim]? Will that growth ever go away? Will I ever be able to afford to go to Hawai?

That is about the time I realize that I should have paying attention to the road and that I need to take my sorry butt to the coffee shop and get some more drawings done. So, I shall be off for now. Wish me luck. Spread the word about the site. Enjoy the comic.

Thankyou,

The Funlicker
